About OnlineToolSpot
OnlineToolSpot is a free collection of calculators that give you one answer, fast. There's no sign-up, and the tools run right in your browser.
What you'll find here
Tools are grouped into five categories:
- Home & DIY: concrete, mulch and gravel, pavers, deck boards, paint and roof pitch.
- Pay & Taxes: self-employment tax, overtime, salary to hourly, freelance rates and PTO.
- Loans & Debt: home affordability, debt-to-income, HELOC and credit card payoff.
- Seller Fees: Etsy and eBay fees, payout and profit.
- Auto & Energy: electricity cost, EV vs. gas and car lease payments.
Your inputs stay on your device
Every calculation happens in your browser. The numbers you type aren't uploaded or stored by us. Close the tab and they're gone.
How the tools are built and checked
- Formulas come from published sources, like IRS forms, government agency guides, manufacturer data sheets and the fee pages of the platforms themselves. Where it matters, each page names its source.
- Every tool is tested before launch. We run each one against worked examples and check that the results match to the cent.
- Each page shows its math. You'll find the formula in plain words and a few worked examples, so you can check the answer yourself.
- Rates and rules change. Pages that depend on tax rules or platform fees show when they were last reviewed, and we update them when the rules change.
Results are estimates. For money, tax, legal or building decisions, check with a qualified professional. See our terms and disclaimer.

How the site is paid for
The site is free because it shows ads. Ads appear in labeled boxes and are kept separate from the tools. Our privacy policy explains how ads and cookies work here.
